To everyone that we have not yet seen or talked to, we’re back from our honeymoon!

This has been a very memorable few weeks. It seems like everything happened in a flash, but we have so many memories that will stick with us forever. It’s not easy to put into words how happy we are with the finished product of our wedding. Planning really does take an incredible amount of time and effort and this is only extended further when the wedding is out of town. We knew it was going to be hard and it certainly was, but every late night, long drive, difficult decision, tough phone call, and endless list was well worth the astoundingly positive outcome. There were no disastrous moments, no weather catastrophes, no tense situations, and no major oopses. There was, however, an abundance of joy, support, and love. From the moment we walked into Nicoletta’s on Friday night, I knew the wedding train had left the station and I was comforted to look around and see two very large and diverse families mixing together with open arms and open hearts. Everyone was in it 100% from that moment until we rolled into the darkness in wedded bliss, with bells ringing, in our noble September Bliss cart. We are so thankful that so many people took the time, made the effort, and spent the money to join us in something that we will hold near and dear in our hearts for the rest of our lives. In short, THANK YOU.

I hope that everyone got a chance to read the quote we chose to include in our wedding favors because that quote could not have been more appropriate had we written it ourselves.

Now for the the fun stuff.

There are a bunch of pictures and some video floating around that I am beginning to collect from people that attended. We will be sorting through every single picture we can get our hands on and will post a bunch of them on this site. If anyone has digital pictures that they took at the wedding, send them to me, send all of them to me. I will be happy to assist with technical details of sending a pile of pictures easily. CLICK HERE to send an email with attached pictures or if you need help getting it done. I want to make sure we get all of the good ones online for everyone to enjoy. It will take longer, but I will also be compiling all of the video and want to get a DVD together that I can copy and send to everyone, so look for that in a couple of months or so. The proof book from our photographer, Steve Zanetti, will be in our hands soon and we will be bringing it around to everyone that wants to see it. I am certain that we will have a great set of pictures to choose from.

For our latest poll, we asked, “On what holiday did we share our first kiss?” Most voters thought the answer was New Year’s. But….earning only 20% of the votes, the correct answer is….Halloween! Yes, surrounded by ghosts, goblins, and jack-o-lanterns, we shared our first kiss- innocent and memorable! To this day we disagree on who initiated it, but all in all, it really doesn’t matter!

There was a tie between the votes. Most thought the song was either Bob Marley’s “Is this Love” or Etta James’ “At Last”.

If you have not yet noticed, I have posted a poll on the right side of the page. We want to find out if you can guess what “Our Song” is. Go ahead, cast your vote. The correct answer will be revealed in a week or two. And remember, more people voting = more fun!

So far tonight I have added a “Countdown to Bliss” on the sidebar. It’s funny, 51 days seems a lot longer than 7 weeks. Actually, 7 weeks seems way longer than “about a month and a half”, which is how we have been referring to 09.08.07. We better not get lazy now!

Things are really shaping up. I should have some nice stuff to add this weekend. I am aiming for Registy info, updated color schemes, rehearsal dinner info, and hopefully more.
