It was a few months back, but I managed to get some pictures from Melanie’s birthday prepped and uploaded to my site. Take a look won’t you.

Take a look around, September Bliss is getting better daily.
A new poll is up for everyone to vote on, the look and feel of the site has been updated to compliment the color scheme of the wedding and invitations, the wisdom section is open and accepting any and all bits of wisdom that you might want to pass on to us as we make this step, and last but not least, the gallery has been implemented.
Check it out and enjoy.

The Registry section has been updated and all Registry links now contain more than suggestions for gift cards, which happens to be the default item on registries. We certainly do not require that gifts come from the registry, but for everyone that wants input, you now have plenty of suggestions.

PS - We’re getting pretty excited! You?
We are down at OBX this weekend. We got in late last night and have a bunch of appointments today and tomorrow. This should be the last trip before the big day so we hope to accomplish a bunch. Once we finalize a few things I’m sure there will be a few more September Bliss Links and additional push pins to check out on the map. I hope everyone’s plans are coming together for 09.08.07, hopefully the information on the site has been useful.
Have a great weekend everyone!

A few things to report today.
First off, I am ecstatic that the Wilson Gordon Wedding is now up to three houses full of people. Our original thought was that everyone could use the trip to the beach to their benefit and enjoyment and so far it looks like everyone that can pull it off is getting on board. This is shaping up to be a great week.
Second, as stated above, the Gordon’s and Smith’s are locked in for a house and are now on to the map.
Third, Robert put together the Wilson Gordon Wedding crossword puzzle. I would have never thought of this myself and it’s pretty cool to have our own crossword puzzle. Click the link on the right for your copy. It is in PDF format, so send it to your printer and see how you do!
The Travel Info section has been updated so Internet Explorer shows the push pins that have been setup on the map. They are color coded and should be easy to figure out. You can zoom in and out and move around the map by clicking and dragging your mouse. Click on any of the push pins to see the details, including addresses, phone number, and website links. I hope everyone finds it easy to use and helpful. I will be adding more pins soon, stay tuned!

Well it turned out to be a good news Friday. Our rings are ready! We bought them at the beginning of the year and sent them off a while back. My ring took a trip to Switzerland to be re-cast because it was several sizes larger than I needed and Melanie’s needed a design element altered, so it took a trip to it’s hometown also. I am not allowed to spill the beans about what our rings look like, so you will just have to wait until September. I’m just glad they are finally here. I hope they turned out as expected. I will report back shortly.

The site is coming along nicely. The Directions and Maps page has been updated, though not 100%, the ceremony and reception sites are mapped. Shortly, family houses, rehearsal dinner location, places to stay, places to eat, and more will be added. Keep checking back, things are coming together quickly.
